My Flying

A little bit of a disappointing day.

I arrived early as the weather forecast predicted a strong Northerly wind would reach FAUH around 12pm. The instructor arrived late and took a student for a flight who basically jumped his position in the queue. They were gone for about an hour. Next it was another student and by the time they arrived back, 20 minutes later, the wind was blowing too strong and the instructor decided not to do any further flying for the day.

In the mean time we kept ourselves busy cleaning and rigging the Twin which had some small cracks repaired. The repair work now basically needs to be filled, sanded down and painted. At least I got some experience in rigging the glider and learning about how some of the bits worked.

No solo flying for me today then.
