Photos of my dual cross country flight in a Blanik L13 from FAUH down the Elandsriver Valley.

Thermalling at 4000ft MSL heading North-West towards the Cockscombe Mountain down the Elandsriver Valley.

Follow up:

Photo towards the South and the Indian Ocean. Not many puffy white clouds to be seen!

Well out of gliding distance from the airfield now at 6000ft MSL.

At 7000ft MSL and just prior to us turning back towards the airfield.

The Cockscomber mountain peak is visible in the distance on the right of the photo. The Elandsriver is below.
