Busy day at the airfield. Rather lekker after the small groups of members showing up in the weeks/months before. The day included a pax flight (a dude from Scotland) and we even acquired a new member.

Flying weekend day 1. I had two flights in the Blanik, one was a 5 min circuit and the other a nice thermal flight of 15 minutes. The wind was really messing us around and we used all four runways today launching from four different directions.

There was a rather serious accident at the airfield today. During a routine winch launch of the Twin Astir, with an instructor and student on board, the left wing dropped and dragged in some thick knee high grass on the left of the runway.
